The final rose of the evening

From the moment they first visited Ottawa’s Le Nordik Day Spa in 2017, Amanda and Aneesh had been swept away. Their visit came at a close friend’s recommendation but immediately the two recognized something special and dreamed of the day they would return.

Fast forward to 2019, and Amanda and Aneesh have planned the perfect Memorial Day weekend trip—complete with a relaxing return to Le Nordik.

This trip, however, would be the start of something even more special.

Breakfast at Kettleman's Bagels, morning massages, and a picturesque but unassuming stroll upon the hill toward their cabins *mdash; Amanda remained none the wiser for what Aneesh had in store.

Slowing to step inside a cabin, the two were met with Amanda’s brother, holding a single red rose reminiscent of a beautiful scene from the Bachelor.

"Aneesh, this is your final rose of the evening", he said.

And with a flourish, Aneesh took his final rose, got down on one knee and presented it along with a declaration of his love for Amanda and asked her to marry him!
